From Highway 99 North or South, take the East Bardsley Ave
Exit. Next, proceed West approximately 2 miles to South K
Street. Turn right on South K Street and proceed North
approximately two blocks to Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. Turn
right on M.L.K. Jr. Ave and follow the auction signs.

REGISTRATION & INSPECTION:
Bidder registration will begin on March 24, from 7:30 a.m.
to 7:00 p.m. daily throughout the sale. All bidders must
provide a valid driver’s license with photo ID and correct
address. You must have a buyer’s number to bid at the
auction. Inspection will begin March 25, 7:30a.m.,
continuing throughout the sale.
PAYMENT TERMS:
All purchases MUST BE PAID THE DAY OF THE AUCTION.
Cash or cashiers checks will be accepted. Personal or
company checks must be accompanied by a valid drivers
license. Visa, Mastercard and American Express also
accepted. A 10% buyer’s premium will be added to all items
purchased under $3,500. paid with cash. A 13% buyer’s
premium will be added for all purchases under $3,500. paid
with a credit card. No buyer’s premium for horses or mules
purchased
SALES TAX:
Local state tax of 9.25% on every item sold. If you are tax
exempt, you must provide a valid tax exemption permit or
resale number.
REMOVAL & LOADING:
All purchases must be paid for on the day of the auction and
must be removed by noon on Sunday, March 28, 2010. Forklifts
will be provided.
CONSIGNMENT COMMISSION SCHEDULE:
General Merchandise
$1.00 to $100.00: 25%
$101.00 to $500.00: 20%
$501.00 to $1000.00: 15%
$1001.00 and over: 10%
$3.00 Minimum Commission on every item sold
Buy Back Fees
$10.00 $1.00 to $500.
$25.00 $501. to S1,000.
$50.00 $1,001. and over
Horses and Mules
7% commission plus $100.00 entry fee per animal. $50.00 Buy

Small 10’ x 10’- $25.00 per day
Medium 10’ x 20’- $50.00 per day
Large 10’ x 40’ - $100.00 per day
Extra Large 20’ x 40’ $200.00 per day

FOOD SERVICE:
Happy Cookers & 4H will provide meals from noon on Thursday
through noon on Saturday.
TRAILERS:
Consignors must provide a pink slip and current registration
in order to sell a trailer.
DOGS:
The Tulare Co. Fairgrounds has posted a No Dogs sign in the sale barn
or horse barn. All dogs on the Fairgrounds must be
leashed.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Although information has been obtained from sources deemed
reliable, the auctioneer makes no warranty, expressed or
implied, as to the accuracy of the information herein
contained. Any item(s) may be added to or deleted from this
auction. It is for this reason that the buyer avail
themselves of the opportunity to make inspection prior to
the sale. All items shall be sold “AS IS WHERE IS”, with all
its faults. All sales are final. We are agents and agents
only. No private sales on the Tulare County Fairgrounds except
vendors. Security will enforce this ruling. We reserve the
right to reject any consignments that are not agriculture,
farm or horse related and items that are misrepresented.
LIABILITY:
The California Draft Horse & Equipment Sale shall not be
liable for any accidents or injuries sustained by anyone
attending the sale. All persons entering the Tulare County
Fairgrounds for
the sale do so at their own risk.
